Review of CableCrew's First Half of 2026
During the first half of 2026, the infrastructure construction market continued to grow, driven by major infrastructure projects, electrification, and investments in data centers. At the same time, the fiber-optic construction market sought a new balance following several years of exceptionally strong growth.
During the first half of the year, we strengthened our customer relationships, expanded our operations into the electrical infrastructure and data center sectors, and continued to develop our digital project management capabilities and partner network in line with our strategy. At the same time, the industry faced challenges from an exceptionally long cold spell and the rapid start of the construction season in spring.
Infrastructure construction is entering a new phase where competitiveness and success are determined less by project volume and increasingly by productivity, quality, safety, and the ability to utilize data effectively throughout both the customer's and the contractor's operations.
Our financial performance strengthened during the spring, and profitability improved to our target level by the end of the reporting period. The development measures implemented have enhanced operational efficiency and provided a solid foundation for continued growth. The Company's liquidity remained strong throughout the period.
In safety, we reached a significant milestone by recording zero lost-time injuries (LTIF 0) over the past 12 months. This achievement reflects our strong safety culture, professional expertise, and commitment to responsible operations.
The outlook for the second half of the year remains positive, supported by a strong order backlog. We expect particularly strong growth in our electrical infrastructure and data center businesses during the remainder of the year. At the same time, we will continue developing our operations to better meet our customers' evolving needs.
I would like to thank our employees, customers, and partners for an excellent first half of the year. Together, we will continue implementing our strategy, "Better Infrastructure, Less Disruption." Our goal is to build infrastructure more safely, with higher quality, and greater productivity - creating sustainable value for our customers, our people, and society as a whole.
