Supplier Code of Conduct

Scope of Application

These requirements apply to all suppliers, subcontractors, and their subcontracting chains of CableCrew Oy. The supplier must ensure that its own subcontractors also comply with these principles.

1. Integrity, Prohibition of Bribery and Corruption

The supplier shall always act honestly and ethically. Bribery, corruption, embezzlement, extortion, concealment of conflicts of interest, or favoritism are strictly prohibited. The supplier shall comply with applicable competition and antitrust laws as well as CableCrew’s zero-tolerance policy on bribery.

Shall requirements:

  • The supplier shall not offer, request, give, or accept bribes or other improper benefits.
  • The supplier shall promptly disclose any potential conflicts of interest to CableCrew.

2. Human Rights, Equality, and Working Conditions

The supplier shall respect internationally recognized human rights. Forced labor, child labor, and discrimination are prohibited. Working conditions must be proper and fair.

Shall requirements:

  • No child or forced labor; at minimum, statutory employment conditions shall be observed.
  • Non-discrimination in recruitment, compensation, and career development.

3. Health and Safety (H&S)

The supplier shall provide a safe working environment, appropriate equipment and protective gear, and comply with applicable H&S regulations.

Shall requirements:

  • PPE practices and risk assessments shall be in place; accidents shall be reported appropriately.

4. Environmental Responsibility

The supplier shall strive to reduce the environmental impact of its operations, comply with laws and standards, and support sustainable development.

Shall requirements:

  • Waste management, emissions reduction, and compliance with environmental legislation shall be demonstrable.

5. Protection of Customer Data, Personal Data, and Confidentiality

The supplier shall protect the confidential information and personal data of CableCrew and its customers and use them only for the agreed purpose.

6. Payments and Accounting

Payments shall only be made for actual deliveries or services, against itemized and duly approved invoices. Accounting records must be truthful.

7. Audits and Cooperation with Authorities

The supplier shall cooperate appropriately with authorities and auditors and provide requested information truthfully.

8. Reporting of Violations (Whistleblowing)

All supplier employees have an obligation to report suspected violations. Reports may be made to a supervisor or via CableCrew’s whistleblowing channel (Cube). Reports shall be handled appropriately.

9. Compliance, Monitoring, and Sanctions

  • The supplier commits to this Supplier Code of Conduct and ensures its implementation throughout its own supply chain.
  • CableCrew may request supporting documentation (policies, training records, audit reports) or conduct assessments.
  • Violations shall result in corrective actions, contractual sanctions, or termination of cooperation in cases of serious or unremedied breaches.
