Role Description

As a Site Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, on schedule and with high quality. You lead employees and subcontractors, supervise progress and work closely with the Project Manager, coordinators and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes practical leadership skills, situational awareness and the ability to ensure that agreed operating models are implemented in daily operations. Knowledge of construction requirements and effective cooperation with municipalities and cities will support your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management and Safety

  • Lead daily on-site operations and supervise employees
  • Ensure occupational safety and compliance with safety practices
  • Identify and manage site-related risks

Supervision and Quality

  • Monitor progress, schedule and quality of execution
  • Participate in inspections and handovers
  • Ensure quality standards are met and report deviations

Documentation and Measurements

  • Be responsible for site documentation and data accuracy
  • Carry out measurements and enter data into systems
  • Ensure all site information is accurate and up to date in systems

Material Management and Collaboration

  • Ensure availability of materials and smooth deliveries
  • Work closely with logistics, employees, project management and municipalities/cities
  • Identify development areas and implement improvements in daily site operations

We Expect From You

  • Experience in site management within infrastructure construction, telecommunications or electrical networks
  • A practical and responsible leadership approach
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to use digital tools for documentation and reporting, and to develop operations within your area of responsibility
  • Fluent Finnish (English is considered an advantage)
